After porting TNs to Verizon VoIP or adding new TNs to your VoIP Enterprise, you as the administrator have control over the following aspects of Outbound Caller ID for each TN:
Whether Caller ID is blocked to the terminating phone for all outbound external calls from the Enterprise.
If Caller ID is not blocked, the Calling Number and Calling Name that you want presented.
NOTE: The actual presentation of the Calling Number and the Calling Name is dependent upon the capabilities of the terminating Service Provider and what features are configured on the terminating party’s phone. For example, many wireless phone providers do not send Calling Name information to the terminating cell phone. For terminating service providers that do send Calling Name information, changes to the originator’s Calling Name will not be reflected in what the terminating party sees until the terminating Service Provider updates their Calling Name database.
